I'm not sure if I made mention, but last week, I finally acquired a Wii. I grabbed Monkeyball, Red Steel, Twilight Princess, and every accessory under the sun. Today I finally had the opportunity to try out Red Steel. Here are my thoughts on it so far.
It takes some getting used to this new control scheme. I felt like I was flailing about like crazy. Reminds me of how I was when I first started using the mouse and keyboard combo after using just a keyboard back in the days of Doom.
I've gotten the hang of it to a degree, but my accuracy in every level is consistently below 20%. Thankfully, I'm playing on easy mode, so there's ammo everywhere, but I'm still getting my ass handed to me now and then.
The game itself plays like Halo in the sense that you can only carry two guns at a time (and your sword), and your health meter recharges if you get out of harms way for a bit. Mind you, I see nothing wrong with this. Better than having to backtrack a million miles for a health pack you didn't need at the time.
So far I'm having a lot of fun with this game, but my shoulders are getting a bit tense. I guess I was really getting into things.
I'm 3-4 levels in, and at this point I am pleased. I don't feel in the least like I wasted my money on this game. If you guys haven't tried it out yet, I think it's at least worth a rental given the limited time I've played it.

Basicly i would waste my money on Red Steel 2 if they made it an overal improvement.
Safe to say is that 1st generation games with the Wiimote is not something you should expect to much of it (except maybe Zelda, i like monkey ball too).
I am looking forward to games which have a little more substance and didnt gave the appearance to be "rushed out".

Remember you can adjust the sensitivity and other options in the menu.
And I think you'll like "the gamer's dungeon"
Once you get used to the controls I'd suggest using a combination of a pistol and either a shotgun or a machine gun. The pistol is very useful for headshots.

So far I've gotten myself to be pretty happy with a shotgun and a revolver. Both have plenty of power, but when I need longer range and/or accuracy, the revolver owns all over the shotgun.
I wish I wasn't so tired tonight. I'd play some more.
That is the only thing I don't like about the Wii. It's not a console where I just sit there and be lazy. I have to be active. Mind you, the other day was the first time I've ever uttered the words "Damn I'm sore. I was playing video games for hours last night." I love it!

The good tv is in the bedroom. Can't really move it, because my wife and I will get on each other's nerves if we're both on our computers in the same room.

It would be awful tough to upgrade this one. She works three jobs so I only have to work one, makes sure I have lunch to take to work every day, has sex with me whenever I want, and doesn't bitch if I'm having an off night and it didn't last as long as originally planned.
Unless you can find me a woman that can do better than that, I'll stick with what I have.

Fantastic game so bad on the multiplayer and the controls are a bit difficult to learn, but after that it's a great shooter, but it need some improvement.

I have played this game and I really like this too much its all of the animation as well as also its all of the characters and the more thing that I want to say you that the start of the level introduced elements that'll be familiar to anyone who's played Metroid, with red hinges on doors and windows that need to be blasted to progress further.
