So if there is a Zombie Apocalypse do you have a Zombie Plan?

If so what is it? How will you prepare? How will you defend yourself? Are you going to run or bunker up and protect your domain?

A Zombie Plan is very similar to what would you do if the SHTF in your area, there will be riots, looting, crazies trying to break into your house, etc... Doesn't have to be Zombies but could be set off by massive biological breakout, war, recession, etc... Just doesn't seem as safe as it used to.

For a moment I thought it was a rally to be the first to get their hands on a copy of Left 4 Dead.

Great game, by the way.

Well I'd be lying if I didn't say that game was some of the influence for my post. And yes, great game.

Check me if I'm wrong, but is fake blood the only thing covering the chunky blond girl's boobs (2nd photo, behind the girl in the forefront)? :x

Never have I played a co-op game that required one to rely on their teammates so much as Left 4 Dead does. It's also brilliant in its simplicity. Just get to the extraction point alive.

Sometimes less IS more.

Just because you've read a Zombie Survival Guide doesn't mean you're ready!

My plans are to keep a well stocked food/water supply and hunker down for the big hurt! Being well armed will also allow me to rest a little easier. Granted I am in a major metropolitan area but at least I'm on the third floor with fairly easy access to the roof. That's the first place I'm going if it gets real nasty. Setup my tent and arm up. The only worry I'll have is trying to keep the pile of dead zombies from reaching my perch... would hate to create a fleshy ladder for them to climb.

You have been checked. She did a really good job making it look that way but she was in fact wearing a shirt that covered up her gore boobs.

It certainly appears that way. Surprised PK didn't pick up on that earlier.

And the game does sound like it has an interesting concept. If Dead Rising had been multiplayer it would have been far more entertaining and more likely for me to keep at it. I've never been a huge zombie person but if the game is good, I'd check it out.

What happens once your food supply runs out and your building is (still) surrounded by zombies?

One needs a longer term escape & survival plan, unless the zombie outbreak is short-lived. And in major metro area, you KNOW it can only go from bad to worse...

You work with what you've got. It would be easy for me to defend my current location but there are other options. I've got a few places in mind that I could head to. Wherever I go I'd like it to have as few obvious entry points as possible. But another benefit with being in my building is I could easily enter other units and scavenge for food/gear outside of what I've already got. I'll just be sure to keep my boomstick primed and ready.

So Muppet, what would you do?

I plan to bunker in place as long as possible. I store a pretty good supply of food and water so I should not have to resupply for at least a month. If I have to bug out, and believe me I have thought of the scenarios at length, I will either try to make it to a like minded friends place or steal a canoe and head down the James.

I suppose it depends on the zombies. Are they slow moving stumbling ones? Or ones that run at you? How do you get infected?

Perhaps most importantly, how long before they die off naturally (starvation)?

Best place to be is on a boat, probably.

I'm game for the whole boat idea. Find a spit of an island and camp out. If anyone else comes ashore they had better not have a scratch on 'em or it's game over man game over. If you're injured and I wasn't there when you got injured you're as good as infected in my mind. No chances!

Tomarlowe, you're welcome to join me on my zombie perch.
