Hey yall,
Just wondering if any of you are planning on picking up Fallout 3. I haven't really kept up with the game much and I've never played 1 or 2 (but I did play brotherhood on Xbox). I just watched a ton of footage on the game and I've decided to pick it up when it comes out. Looks freaking fantastic. Lots of folks have been saying "Oblivion with Guns" which is fine by me. I'm STILL playing Oblivion after all this time so I'm sure I'll love this game. N E 1 Else?

Just watched a whole bunch of trailers from www.gametrailers.com and the game looks cool. It certainly peaked my interest a bit but I'm still unsure if I'll jump out and pick it up when it releases Oct 28th. -PK

I'm debating between that and Fable II right now.

the trailer ruined the game for me also. the silly cheesy pit boy thing or whatever it was called to aim at certain parts of the body was well cheesy. I think that thing would slow down what could be a good action game.

It's not an action game. It is an RPG, similar to Oblivion. Not intended to focus on the fighting action in the same way a game like Half Life might. However, from what I've seen you can play it without ever once targeting a specific spot on an enemy.

Hmmm if that's the case maybe I'd have to buy the game after all. Last thing I would want to be doing it targetting the game place for every darn enemy.

I just picked it up last night. Haven't played much but I have to agree with most of the reviews I've read that say that the character animations are a bit robotic. Reminds me a lot of Oblivion so far, but that's not a bad thing at all. I also picked up Fable II. Fantastic so far, a bit more confined that Fallout but still great. Graphics are nice, animations are great, lip syncing is awesome and the art direction is top notch. Again, I'm not far into that either but I've played a bit more of Fable than I have of Fallout. I can't wait to get into these games when I have time. If it weren't so close to the end of the semester. I can't WAIT for xmas break.

I've played quite a bit of this game now, pretty damned awesome if I do say so myself. The atmosphere is to die for. I went through and changed all the music in the game with songs I felt better emphasized the feeling of dread and desolation. I did that with Oblivion as well. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves RPG's. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for hard core shooter fans, but if your mildly into shooters, this game is pretty deep. I wish it did base your accuracy on where your crosshairs are pointing. I'd get a lot more head shots if that was the case. Nonetheless, it's still an awesome game. I was scared as fuck searching around in the super duper mart. It was too cool!

Trailer ruined the game too. Off line dumb son of a ditch or something, whatever his name was to try parts of the body was very poor. I think the thing that would slow down what could be a good action game.

Best game ever. I haven't played any other previous Fallout games. But i have to say this is one of the best games I have ever played. It's realistic, the graphics are great, different variety of weapons and the list goes on. This game was worth every single cent of my money. A true masterpiece.

It's a great game. The graphics are good, and there is a great environment to enjoy. Outside the story, there are many enemies and battles to fight, and the missions are very broad. certainly live up to my expectations.

The big game, but not for everyone; heads action can not enjoy this game subtleties. But if you are willing to put in the time and effort, and you are not discouraged by the occasional glitch, you find Fallout 3 is one of the most exciting, imaginative play in this generation.

Well I have just played this game and I just want to say that Fallout 3 is very entertaining from the story line. The other thing is that it has really very great details. As for the graphics, I feel that more details could be chipped in. It feels a bit cartoon due to the colours and lack of texture.
