I like that the new Need for Speed will have cop chases back. I still play Most Wanted just for that reason. The only thing I missed from it was being able to race as the cop or do cop chases in the Multiplayer. If that comes back - SWEEET!

Anyone else considering getting this?

You know me. I'm all for racing games. And as usual if it supports multiplayer and we can get the gang all together online I'll buy just about any game.

I'm all for racing games... that aren't realistic. Not that I minded PGR or Forza, I just wasn't any good at them. Give me the opportunity to crash the competition and I can do pretty well.

That's why I still want to get Burnout: Paradise City.

I did like Need For Speed, where you have to avoid capture by the Police for 15 mins. They get really aggressive later on, very tough. Stingers, helicopter, cop-SUVs that ram you head on, etc. All good fun!

No new idea for NFS , Since Pro Street fail to "boom" the market .
they went in to the dead end by repeating the "old" fashion .....

But I like the "old" fashion. Need for Speed 2 on the PC was a lot of fun playing as the Cop to try and capture your friends. I remember chasing down or running away from Riddler numerous times. That's definitely a feature that I'd like to see come back.

And I liked the "somewhat" story line of Most Wanted. Like Lightsout said - running from the cops for 15min is a lot of fun and I still haven't finished that yet. I either pass the mark and can't get away or I make a stupid mistake and get caught too soon. Often, I'll also get away too early and they can't find me anymore. I still go back to it though.

Diggadevil you're thinking of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit not NFS2. Both were a while lot of fun. Personally I really liked Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed, I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that I had a steering wheel for the first time with that game.

That's right. Hot Pursuit was the one. Porsche Unleashed was too realistic for my tastes. I had a lot of fun driving it, but totaling the cars actually had an effect and I was/am piss poor at driving without crashing into something. :)
