Yeah so uhm... what the heck is this? Screenshots look OK but the backgrounds just look like pre-rendered images. Doesn't look like anything all that impressive. Hows the gameplay?

Ah, you haven't seen much on this game it seems. It's the game that stole the show at the Game Developer Conference earlier this year. I will post a video so you can check it out, but basically it's about creating levels in innovative and artistic ways for you and your friends to run through online. It's much more impressive in motion.

For those not in the gaming know, here are some videos of Little Big Planet to help explain it:
http://www.playscope.com/@@@14881-littl ... ias=Videos
Newest videos at the top (from this last E3) and older videos at the bottom, each video generally has multiple resolutions to choose from. It's in french, but it should be easy enough to navigate.

It may just be my taste in games, but that looks like a bad Adult Swim show. I can appreciate their efforts to create a unique art style, but they better have some serious game play to back that up.

It looks like it won awards at E3 this year too. You will also be able to design and implement enemy characters and bosses. Pretty sweet! It's a 3D side scroller with a pretty robust physics engine at heart, but the gameplay is user generated with the level design and puzzles as well as enemies.

I think the guys on the Totally Rad Show summed this game up best. "I see lots of people using the game to build giant Penises."

It's like Worms all over again!!!
Memories of many a LAN Party playing Worms with maps containing rather risqué themes.
LAN Party 2000 (01/08/2000)
Everybody loves puntang!
.... no description required.
Had to blur this one a bit because some may have found the content a bit offensive. Lets just say Tomarlowe's post says it all.
Gotta love what young minds create.

If that's what you kids are into. The good thing for the rest of us is that the levels that get shared will be moderated and user rated, so if you want to just download the best of the best you may do so.

Best game I played in a very long time. Beautiful, innovative and simply amazing. Seriously, ignore them, posting low scores. Xbox 360 fan boys get a little upset, so we better be patient with them.
