You are making a false assumption here. You think everyone is successful and has a bright future. Life often is pain, suffering, depressing, hopeless… If Cho’s father were Bill Gate, or a super star at school. I doubt this tragedy would ever happen at first place.

Well he was kind of upset with the whole world turning against him but those people with that mindset will bring anything forward as an excuse.
Does money matter yes and no, for most it's a drive to get where they want to be.

Socioeconomic class has no bearing on someone's mental health. Criminally insane people can be found at all levels. It's just a matter of what conditions are needed to push these people over the edge.

I am not saying it is all about money. I am just trying to help you understand that everything happens happens for a reason. There were the reasons that had driven Cho into madness. Just like what you said, “it's just a matter of what conditions are needed to push these people over the edge.†In Cho’s case, money was one of the reasons. What you failed to realize however is that these people could as well be you and me.
I know better than anyone because I had been through it once myself. There was once I wanted to kill someone so badly. Not only did I want to kill him, but I also wanted to kill all his friends and families, even anyone that had ever spoken a word to him. Of course at last I didn’t do it otherwise I wouldn’t be here talking to you. One reason that I didn’t do it was that I couldn’t come up with a plan or weapons that I could group him and his friends and families together and slaughter them at once.
We never met face to face but how long we have known each other through the cyber space? Do I look like a criminally insane person to you? That day before I was with this raging fire, I was actually in the best mood ever, a sunny weekend just off from work with my beautiful girlfriend. It all began after a stranger came to me and notified me that the temptation challenge that I had been asking for long was granted.
Love, hate, fear..., events trigger emotions and emotions pull your mind. In many ways, we are nothing but just programs, to act and react exactly we are programmed to be. Free will sure we do have, but don't over estimate it.

Just read this on CNN. 18 injured, 7 dead in killing spree in Japan. Murder weapons? Glad you asked. Knife and automobile. It's almost like the guy wanted to kill these people and he found a way to do it, even without a gun. Who would have though you could commit mass murder without a gun?

Oh god "in a video game district of downtown Tokyo" lets see how long it takes for the media to run wild with that one.

These Asian knife crimes are just getting out of hand.I really think they need to start regulating knives over there. Perhaps they should start limiting blade size. Or banning knives that aren't used for cooking. They should certainly start running background checks on people before they can purchase knives. If they did these thing I am sure these officers would still be alive.

Did you know that money can't buy knives?
