I've seen this same dongle at CompUSA going for $24.99 so I'd say its a good deal worth making a little fuss about.

How can I print a document via Bluetooth printer directly from my iPhone? Theoretically, it should be possible. Both are Bluetooth devices. Is it a matter of getting and Ap and a driver from the printer manufacturer or is it something more involved?

Blue tooth is nothing but a hardware protocol. It can't magically connect to everything. And have the drivers to a device. i bet if you google: bluetooth iphone printing, you get somewhere.
