Hey, I just got Call of Booty 4 and I have to say, it lives up to the hype. The Graphics are off the hook and the game play is just something special. A bunch of buddies and I have been making Friday's Frag Fest. If any of yall'd like to join us some times, my Gtag is listed here at 3Dnow. PK, already got yours. I forgot how much fun killing ones friends can be.

I agree, it's awesome and own it for Playstation 3. I play it daily and am rather good at it. I only play HARDCORE mode.

No, PC users play PC, 360 plays 360, and Playstation 3 gamers play against other Playstation 3 gamers.

I really wish it were possible to play cross platform. Certainly would make for some interesting battles. My biggest concern would be that console gamers would get PWND by PC gamers due mainly to the precision of the mouse.

You would know. You had the keyboard mouse combo for the original xbox to play Halo 2 and definitely got significantly better at sniping with it. Accuracy jumped pretty quickly.
Don't they have a combo like that for the 360?

Luckily the PS3 natively supports USB mouse and keyboard so it's just up to the developer to implement it (though to this point I think only Unreal Tournament III supports this).

Its not lucky, thats the way it was designed. I do like that I can take a lot of my peripherals and use it with the PS3. Certainly a nice feature.
I guess the bright side of the 360s keyboard/mouse add on would be that you can use it with any game because it mimics the 360 controller. There are only a few games that you'd really want to use it with though. Mainly FPS/TPS style games.

-PK That's how the FragFX thing works, it really just mimics a controller so it could work with any game. I haven't used one personally but know a couple people who have one and they had okay results, I believe.

Okay results are the impression I'm getting from users of the 360 version of the same thing. The one I used for the original XBOX worked really well for shooters so long as you kept the sensitivity set up real high. Sure made sniping fun though .

PK wrote: There is a way to do that but from what I've read it is not worth the money mainly due to a lag from the mouse. There is a minimum amount of lag when moving the mouse. I've read that the newest version is much faster pretty much no lag. http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=13000http://www.xcm.cc/xcm_xfps_360.htm-PK It definitely looks promising but the $80 price is high. And the need for a Wired controller could be a problem. I mean, who has a wired controller for the 360?

Its funny you bring that up now because I was just over at my brother in laws place and he happened to have a wired 360 controller laying around. Mentioned the keyboard/mouse adapter and I've got top priority on that wired controller . But yes. $80?! I can think of much more meaningful purchases.

I also picked up Rainbow Six Vegas... WHOLLY CRAP! That game is the bawm! I never liked The R6 series because they took so much planning, but this one is done really well... and of course, my idea of an enjoyable game has changed over the years. I just miss the ability to shoot through things you SHOULD be able to shoot through (like in COB4). Other than that, its a damn RIOT online with a good group of buddies, and the Single Player is very engaging.
