AMD has a messed up number system, it works well for people to know what is fastest along the newest lines of cards but for the average Joe a 6970 sounds better than a 5970.

Well people have to get used to the new method now , if there looking for the 2 gpu on one board solution they need to wait for the 6990 :) .
