The fact of the matter is that no one buying this board is going to run a processor at stock, and really if you do, well you are just stupid. The ASUS Crosshair IV Formula was built to be a badass AMD overclocker and that is exactly what it is. Its stable, fast, and a hell of an enthusiast toy. The big question here is value, and at $210, you can easily argue that it is worth every penny. The only thing that seems to be a contender with the Crosshair is the MSI 890FXA-GD70 for 179.99 after MIR at the time of writing this
