Anybody who claims to love America should pay close attention to what is happening in New Hampshire.

Ed and Elaine Brown have pledged that they will either walk out of their home as free Americans, or be carried away dead. They have insisted all along that IF the government can show them a law which PROVES that they must pay a direct tax on their income, they will cut a check and end this standoff immediately.

So far the government hasn't been able to do that.

The Browns aren't attention-seekers. They aren't 'loonies' or 'radicals'. They aren't even tax evaders. They are AMERICAN CITIZENS who know their Constitution. Their records will show that they have paid all the other LEGITIMATE taxes that the law requires them to pay. Don't let the MSM spin you into thinking these people are criminal tax dodgers. They are willing to die for what's contained in the US Constitution. Is that not what REAL patriotism is?

Yeah but we all know that the goverment isnt gonna do this. Such a can of worms ....

Other parts of your constitution have already had a negative impact on your soceity ...

I wouldn't say it's parts of the Constitution itself that has had a negative impact upon our society, but rather lawyer-politicians who try to skirt their way around its restrictions instead of being creative enough to work within them.

The problem with power is that it attracts the very type of people who should not be allowed to have it.

And this is in regards to what?

I'm sure a simple Google search will give you all the help you need in bringing yourself up to speed, but in a nutshell, here's the story:

A New Hampshire couple refused to pay their income taxes for the last 10 years. When the IRS finally caught up with them and took them to court, they argued that there is no law under the US Constitution that requires them to pay an income tax. The court would not allow them a defense questioning its legality, even a SCOTUS ruling from the past that supported their claim. They were both sentenced to 5 years in prison for tax evasion, but instead of showing up to go to jail they elected to fortify their home and stay there. They have requested time and again for the courts to show them the law that specifically requires them to pay a tax on their wages, and if the courts can successfully do this, they will cut a check on the spot for their back taxes and end this standoff immediately. This is the ONLY tax they have refused to pay. So far the courts cannot provide this simple piece of legal evidence which proves that the Browns are wrong. Ed and Elaine Brown are willing to die for this. Either they walk from their home free, or they will be carried out dead. They are that serious about their beliefs in the US Constitution. The MSM is portraying them as criminals when in fact they haven't broken any laws. What's making this difficult for the feds is that the Browns have made their home entirely self-sufficient, plus the fact that if they go in guns blazing (like Waco and Ruby Ridge), they will make the Browns into martyrs.

all i gotta say is more power to them!!!!!!! If there right great!!!!!! Finally some people with spine's. There are so many sheep in the usa that just follow blindly what the goverment says that they never question it. I applod them on standing up for whats right.
