Not a great picture, but
Image

It is a 2007 Nissan Murano, replaces my 2001 Dodge Intrepid. I loved the Intrepid, but the warantee ran out and it was near 100,000 miles, needed something new for the family and the job. She gives a wonderfull ride, and the CVT transmission takes some getting used to , but it is so smooth. I am happy with the purchase so far, she is loaded with pretty much everything except DVD player, GPS and bluetooth, but I can add all that later.

Just picked it up this past Saturday

I've always liked the Nissan Murano. I suggested we get one, but my wife doesn't like it.

2 weeks ago we turned in our 2005 Chevy Equinox (it was at the end of the lease) and bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited in its place. It's a good thing we bought it when we did, because the very next day we got hit with 10 inches of blowing snow and a level-3 snow emergency.

Driving through the slop is simply too easy now, compared to the FWD model of the Chevy Equinox we were driving before.

Nice car man, I've been debating on a new car for awhile but mine still runs strong even after 205k.

Nice ride, my car is older but still pimped out for an oldy. It's a 92 but you'd never think it. Modded body and engine, low pro racing tires... oh yeah.

Nice ride Eric. I went to an auto show to sit in all the 2 door cars (plus alot of 4 door vehicles) and not one of them was comfortable for the way I drive. And oddly enough, I did not even sit in a Murano there, I just saw it on the lot and went with it :-)

Here's a pic of my wife's '95 VW Golf III. 160,000+ miles and still pullin' like it was new.

Not MY vehicle, but the model I own.

Image

2005 Toyota Corolla LE

I've been really happy with this car so far. I have avoided more accidents because of its maneuverability, stopping power, etc. I did bust up one fender a year after I bought it because someone ran a stop sign while I was doing 50 down a backroad. Oddly enough, had I been speeding down that road like I usually do, I would have been past the sign he ran before he got there. I swerved, went into the ditch, smacked a 2 inch tree, got back out of the ditch, and that was that. Still, better than smashing into him at 50. Damn that car handles well... even if I did strain the muscles in my arm cranking that wheel as hard as I did.

Thankfully, the body guy I took it to does superb work. It was about $500 more than any other body shop, but the insurance covered it, and it looks brand new. Even my brothers couldn't tell which side was dented originally after I showed it to them.

I have about 23,000 miles on my car right now after a smidgeon over two years. She runs great though. She handles VERY well on shitty roads. I dare say better than most ordinary front wheel drive econo-cars would do. There's a lot to be said for the tires that come stock with the vehicle.

When do I intend to replace it? Not for a long time. I COULD afford to trade it in if I really wanted to, but why? It's barely even broken in!

I'm hoping to get 200,000 miles out of her, but given that I don't drive a lot, the body will probably rust off before that happens. Meh. At least the engine will likely last that long. Doesn't hurt that I change the oil every 2,500 miles, even though the OEM recommends every 5,000. I intend to get as much life out of this vehicle as I possibly can.

At least my brothers are mechanics. I should be able to get a lot of life out of this car.

Ghettolicious, but definitely photoshopped.

There's no way you can adapt dubs to fit a 4-wheel ATV unless you know some skilled machinists.
