Only that it came from an animal instead of normal human to human contact. And in reality this might not sound like a big deal unless you realize a few things:

Food in the Bio industry tends to have medicinal components like anti biotics. To keep animals bred in a fast tempo free from disease (you might remember a decade (orso) ago where they fed chickens in this way with growth hormons and it was linked to something that became rather evident of people of mexico where there young girls reaching maturity and their period rather soon).

This has been something that mankind would rather not have seen. If this becomes a regular threat then our food supply is going to kill us instead of feeding us.

Correct, it isn't a big deal. :) Diseases do transfer between species all the time!

Was it ever a big deal? Other theb World Health Orginization (WHO) and Center for Disease Coltrol(CDC).

I mean, the news is making it sound like it could kill you the instint you got it.

It IS the flu, nothing else, and soon; There will be a Antidote for it...

We've had international air travel for what, 60 years now? Surely if there were to be a pandemic that would cut a swath across the global population it would've happened by now.

The swine flu "scare" was more fearmongering, sorry to say.

Who cares, if I get it, I get it. It'll go away sooner or later.

Usually I don't get colds, I have a pretty strong emune system.

It is just flu, I don't see why people bother (unless they are at risk).

Are you prepared to say you were wrong? Swine Flu is just another flu, and not significant at all despite the media hype.
