I plan to bunker in place as long as possible. I store a pretty good supply of food and water so I should not have to resupply for at least a month. If I have to bug out, and believe me I have thought of the scenarios at length, I will either try to make it to a like minded friends place or steal a canoe and head down the James.

I'm game for the whole boat idea. Find a spit of an island and camp out. If anyone else comes ashore they had better not have a scratch on 'em or it's game over man game over. If you're injured and I wasn't there when you got injured you're as good as infected in my mind. No chances!

Tomarlowe, you're welcome to join me on my zombie perch.

Umm sorry for the HUGE bump..I think

I would hide in a weapon shop.

Weapons shot = weapons, ammo, generator, ect, ect.
I would take a blow torch and seal the doors, and I would also make back-up rooms, like, the staff room. I would make it an armoury and wait for the CAF or the USMC. Well, actually, any army core or division.

Yeah great idea. What do u plan on eating in that gun store. Ammo? Also, I don't know a lot of gun stores that keep blow torches or generators laying around. Your also forgetting a few other crucial things. First, in the days and weeks prior to a SHTF scenario, that store is going to get wiped the hell out. 2nd, if somehow that store isn't cleaned out that store has an owner who's plans may interfere with your plans and third every undead mouth breather in a 50 mile radius is going to be thinking "hey, lets bunker at Billy Bob's Gun's N' Stuff."

I guess I forgot to mention the Hardware store down here in the sentence. It has a generator, guns, weilders, and cars.

I may not know alot about escape routes but I'm good in hand to hand combat. Zombie can't bite you when it's on the floor with a broken neck......

After thinking of your post, who needs an escape route. I live in a small town, I dought a zombie apocolypse will ever come here. We may not have lots of stuff, but we have a hardware store which is combined with a grocery store. It seemed like a good idea, 1 YEAR of food right there, refrigering by the Hardwares generator. Also, I know this town on the back of my hands. I could out run a zombie anyday for my fitness level. I have a great shot (Cadets) and it is still developing. Give me a sniper, I can hit a target windage and all up to 550 yards or lower.

Best thing yet, there is a radio shack just a few feet away from the hardware store, which means I could broadcast that I am a survivor holding up in a non-to-popular hardware store. I work at the hardware store too, which is better, because I know they have extra guns and ammo locked up. And because I'm so fimmiliar with guns, I know where the keys are. In a safe, and I know the safe combo.

I've got a pretty good plan, and anyone is welcome to join me.

The hard ware store also has only 2 exits/enterences, along with the gerocery store.

And, there is a roof top, so I could easily get away ontop of the roof to get to where I need to go.

And, my dad is a hilo pilot. Out towns 6 story hospital (I think) has a heli pad on it. I could get away with him to a survivors collony....

Ok, taking the quiz.

I'll tell you my bio first.

"My name is Zachary ________ and I am into sports like Hockey and Football. I'm currently an employee at "Raymonds professinal Hardware" and the pay is not so great. I'm also a Forward in a Triple A (midget) hockey team in Canada. I weigh roughfly 220 LBS and can follow threw with a body check. I am a bigger fellow, but not to fat. I can run for a long time with out getting tired due to Cadet training. I've learned hand to hand moves, ect, ect. From Cadets (2922 Lethbridge Division) I've also learned to shoot a C-7, C-8 and a DPMS A-15. I've also good at hitting targets up to 550 yards or lower with wind and elivation included. My Cadet CO (Commanding Officer) Captain. Tucker; says I'm one of the best marksmen in the group.

My Phisicly attrubutes are ok, my face was messed up when I fell down a stair case when I was young, I know have a face-long scar. I also know how to take apart guns, and put them back together from Cpt. Tuckers training. I love my family with all my heart and my motto is actually this "Friends and Family are worth dieing for" - There is the Military part of me kicking in.

My leadership skills are amazing. I'm a motivator, a leader. In my Cadet group, I'm Cadet Leader with the rank of "Chief Warrent Officer". So, I hope you like my bio, unfinished of coruse, but it works for now. Anyway, if you have any OTHER questions for me, I am willing to answer, Zach"

Anyway, like I said, I am taking the quiz, we will see what happenes.

Edit: Here are my results!

Physical Rating: A
Mental rating: B
Experience rating: A
Emotinal rating: B
Total Survivor rank: Z+

A Zombie Plan is very similar to what would you do if the SHTF in your area, there will be riots, looting, crazies trying to break into your house, etc... Doesn't have to be Zombies but could be set off by massive biological breakout, war, recession, etc.
