With Mitt Romney dropping out of the race, it is now John McCain, Mike Huckabee, and RON PAUL.

This is in spite of the almost total MSM blackout on him.

This is in spite of lapdog "political analysts" telling viewers that he doesn't have a chance and "isn't presidential material".

This is in spite of him getting minimal time to speak at the various Republican debates as compared to the other frontrunners.

This is in spite of political dirty tricks at the caucuses (such as all other GOP candidates banding together as the "Family Values" candidate, as seen in Louisiana)

This is in spite of the smear tactics and the blatant perversions of his viewpoints.

It's no wonder why many people don't know much about him or what he stands for.

NOW LET'S LOOK AT WHY HE'S STILL AROUND

For the 3rd straight quarter, he has received more donations from members of the military than all other candidates combined.

He is walking his talk about fiscal conservatism. He is wisely spending his campaign dollars while others blew through their wad quickly and had to quit because they're out of money.

He has a grassroots support system that is autonomous, which is promoting him without the need for directions from the campaign headquarters. It is from the bottom up.

He is the only candidate talking about the relationship between our foreign policy and our economy.

He is the only candidate that is including America's younger, tech-savvy voters in the political discussions.

His message of strict constitutionalism, reduced federal presence, sound money, and individual liberty is uniting people of all stripes. Freedom IS popular, so it seems.

Being a 10-term congressman who has experience with Republican leadership's dirty tricks to try to unseat him (such as supporting the Democratic opponent in his own district), he is well aware of what he needs to do to stay in the race.

And so far it looks like he's doing a great job. At this point it doesn't matter if he gets the nomination, he has already won. He has steered the political discourse in America toward a direction that other candidates cannot possibly ignore any longer.

He is making history. God be with you, Ron.

The thing what i like is that the minority in the republican party is so vocal about Mccain being a lefty.

It is so funny these guys have no candidate to throw their money at ?

Here's something even more interesting: JOHN MCCAIN IS NOT A NATURAL-BORN US CITIZEN AND IS THEREFORE INELIGIBLE TO BE PRESIDENT. He was born in 1936 at Coco Solo Air Base in the then US-controlled Panama Canal Zone, which is not considered to be a part of the US.

From the US State Department website at http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/86755.pdf

Quote:
7 FAM 1116.1-4 Not Included in the Meaning of "In the United States"

(TL:CON-64; 11-30-95)

a. A U.S.-registered or documented ship on the high seas or in the exclusive economic zone is not considered to be part of the United States. A child born on such a vessel does not acquire U.S. citizenship by reason of the place of birth (Lam Mow v. Nagle, 24 F.2d 316 (9th Cir., 1928)).

b. A U.S.-registered aircraft outside U.S. airspace is not considered to be part of U.S. territory. A child born on such an aircraft outside U.S. airspace does not acquire U.S. citizenship by reason of the place of birth.

c. Despite widespread popular belief, U.S. military installations abroad and U.S. diplomatic or consular facilities are not part of the United States within the meaning of the 14th Amendment. A child born on the premises of such a facility is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and does not acquire U.S. citizenship by reason of birth.

Quote:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President -- The Constitution of the United States, Article II Section 1

Let's see how the media will try to spin McCain's candidacy when this fact gains traction.

I guess there's really only two Republican candidates in the race.

GO RON !
