I don't recall the officer saying "I'm arresting you for not signing the ticket". It was for not doing what he was saying...

The cop was arresting a stupid law breaker, giving the law breaking stupe a free get out of jail ticket on his own recognizance as his rights until the court date. The stupe refused his rights - the free get out of jail ticket.
"Arresting law breaking stupid dude with rights was the cops primary function."

nam ng, you just don't get it. The cop could have read the stupid driver's rights and arrest him for not cooperating. The cop however CANNOT taser the driver simply because of his stupidity, period. In US laws, I doubt you can even treat kids or animals like that.  Not listening to me, taser, taser, taser
