Gents,

It's been a while since I posted here, must have been about 4 years.
I went over to the dark side a long time ago, ever since AMD gave up their lead in technology to Intel.
A lot has happened, I'm a daddy now, got me a son, the second kid is on the way too

Anyways, I am upgrading my server and am looking for a 19" case that has at least 8 prefferably 12 hot swap drive bays accessable from the front.
I have been looking and looking and there are some nice cases, ie. Chenbro, but the big problem is that my 19" rack is only 580mm deep and most 19" rack mount cases are 600-660mm deep.

So I was thinking, if there were a PC-case with about 8 5.25" external slots, that could be modded to fit my 19" rack that would work.
The case cannot be higher than 450 mm, thatb is the distance between the rails in a 19" rack.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or maybe a link to a mod like this?

Belgarat,

P.S.: It's been a while, but does Wayne still complain he can't get laid?
(let the flaming begin *angel* )

I think that bots will answer you and tell you that they like having lots of drive bays in their 19 inch rack :) .

Place is rather slow , some people still lurk here :) .

Anyway nice to hear things are well. However i have no idea on the thing you are looking for :) .

Regards,
Pieter
